Webmaster and Marketing Specialist

At Associated Electrics, we offer opportunity for growth and development along with a full array of benefits. We are currently hiring a fulltime Webmaster and Marketing Specialist.

Webmaster and Marketing Specialist - Responsibilities:

  • BigCommerce Management: Manage and optimize the BigCommerce platform to ensure website functionality and performance. Implement and customize BigCommerce themes and plugins. Monitor and analyze website metrics to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
  • Website Updates & Maintenance: Maintain and update website content using BigCommerce platforms. Ensure website functionality across different devices and browsers. Collaborate with the marketing team to align website updates with marketing initiatives.
  • Marketing Support: Develop and execute marketing campaigns using BigCommerce integrations and features. Create Press Releases for new products. Create compelling content for website, social media, and email campaigns. Write and distribute press releases to announce company news and updates. Work on product launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollout
  • Work closely with team members to achieve company goals and meet customer needs

Requirements:

  • Full-time on-site work is required
  • Must be a reliable self-starter
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, phone, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, still product photography, photo editing software like Photoshop, and have some proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Sage or similar software a huge plus but not required (will train)
  • Ability to work well in a team and family-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of radio control vehicles and hobby industry a HUGE plus

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

Hours: Our office hours are from 7:00am to 4:45pm Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 3:45pm on alternate Fridays. Every other Friday, our offices are closed.

Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Enter Accounts Payable invoices, employees reimbursement and monthly AMX expenses.
  • Review AP check register and prepare check stub to invoices for mailing.
  • For AR - Apply checks, wire payments and prepare bank deposit through remote Desktop.
  • Create and maintain new Customer and Vendor accounts as needed.
  • Enter orders for distributor and manufacturers, hobby shops and race team.
  • Archive PayPal receipts for invoiced orders report. Checking for missed payments, orders or adjusted payments.
  • Handle customer problems and questions received by email or phone such as declined cards, missing PayPal payments, customer order inquiries, tracking information, process returns and refunds in Sage.
  • Check past-due report and contact dealers with invoices past ten days old. Send statements to customers and collect payments.
  • Bank reconciliations for PayPal and BrainTree.
  • Sets up new files for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable; creates file labels.
  • Maintains filing for Accounting Department.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Assist Accounting Manager with other accounting projects.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational, great attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, phone and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills, Ability to work with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization promptly and professionally
  • Proficiency in Excel using Vlookup and pivot table functions, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Sage or similar software a huge plus but not required
  • Ability to work well in a team and family-oriented environment
  • BS / BA in Accounting, Finance preferred

Pay Range: $50k-60k per year.
