Michael Paige is Crowned Triple Champion of the Midwest Nitro Series Finals!

The series started back in May and just ended this past weekend. I (Michael Paige) attended all but one of the series. The series consisted of having to run in three out of the five races, and making the final race:

Round 1: Leisure Hours in Joliet, IL
Round 2: RJD Hobbies in Lincoln, IL
Round 3: Cheese City in Monroe, WI
Round 4: Thunder Road in Moline, IL
Round 5: Clark RC in Madison, WI
Finals: Leisure Hours in Joliet, IL

It was a great series, and I enjoyed competing with different drivers at every track. Each track was different — that's what made it fun and, admittedly, very trying at times.

When all was finished, my Team Associated buggies and truggy placed first in 1/8 electric buggy, 1/8 pro buggy, and 1/8 pro truggy!

My hat's off to Gary Wright for running a great series of races throughout the summer, to Richard Saxton for answering my many questions, and to my ever-supportive sponsors, without which I could never had made it.
